Understanding

Your Creation

in the Image of God

Explore how even in our fallen state we inherently carry the image of God as three separate persons within our human trinity.

Each with a unique appetite and agenda. Called to live in unity

Book Cover

In His Image

Uncover the mysteries of your creation in the image of God as three separate persons within a harmonious unity. We will take a look at the unique appetites and agendas of each person in the human trinity, drawing parallels to the way Jesus aligned Himself with the Father’s will.

Rooted in the World

Navigate the struggles of aligning with the Spirit while contending with the allure of the world system. This book emphasizes the need for New Birth, renewal of the mind, and the personal spiritual warfare involved in choosing between the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life.

Carry the Kingdom

Just as God told Adam and Eve to extend the Garden to the whole earth Jesus commissioned His disciples to carry His Kingdom to the ends of the earth.

As the Nation of Israel carried the Tabernacle, filled with the glory of the Lord (Exodus 40:35)

we are called to carry and manifest the "Light of the World" to the world.

Advocate or Adversary?

Do your thoughts, words, and actions align with the Spirit of God or with the spirit of the world? With Jesus the Advocate or the adversary - the Accuser of the Brethren? We are called to choose life but there are so many voices demanding a response. We will take a look at those voices and how to stand against them. To speak life and not death. Blessings and not curses.

The Garden of Your Heart

We have a choice.

Two Trees - Garden of Eden

A Mind for Battle

You were born on a battlefield. You have been a target since conception. There is only one path to victory in this battle. With Jesus Christ as your head and the leadership of the Holy Spirit, you can have victory. It is a necessity to train our minds in the language of the Spirit of God and be attentive to His voice. We must recognize certain strategies used in battle by both the enemy and God.

These are a few topics discussed in this book

  • How are we created in the image of God?
  • How could Jesus be fully God and fully human?
  • Why did Jesus need to be born of a virgin?
  • Why did Jesus, although sinless feel the need to be baptized.
  • How can we know if we are in the faith?
  • How can we distinguish the voice of the Holy Spirit from the many other voices in the world?
  • Are tongues relevant for today?
  • How does the Holy Spirit help us to pray?
  • How can we effectively pray God's will?
  • Where is the Garden of Eden today?
  • Does God still perform miracles?
  • How can we break old patterns and addictions?

An encouraging and Faith building book on learning how to grow from each life experience : how to forgive and grow in unity.

Chris Maxwell - Author, Pastor

Jon Owen (or Jonbo, as I've long known him) has been a friend for many years. I've heard the words he's sung and spoken, and now Iv'e enjoyed reading the words he's written.

In his book A Perspective on Spiritual Warfare: The Choices We Make, Jon offers a biblical lens on a frequently misunderstood topic. Drawing from years of ministry experience both locally and globally, he presents a perspective that is both deep and wide. Open this book - and open your mind - to Jonbo's insights.

They'll help you make wise choices in light of spiritual realities we all face.

I have been honored to watch Mr. Owen pull together a multitude of ways our Lord has used him throughout the years and around the globe, into a beautiful tapestry of faith gained and lessons learned. As an author, Jonbo, (as he is known by his friends), skillfully draws out relevant moments of grace and inspiration, the unseeable footprints of Christ in his life, combining them into something greater than the sum of its parts. In the short time it will take you to consume this book, you will benefit from a lifetime of trials, tribulations, victories, and supernatural interventions.

This work goes beyond a simple sharing of stories. The real beauty for me is those stories are purposefully orchestrated by God, over time, for the ultimate purpose of bringing tangible pieces of insight with eternal weight to us, the readers. Jonbo is the channel He chose to synthesize those events and lessons into practical, scripture-driven principles for knowing and trusting Jesus more fully.

I hope that this labor of love and obedience will push you to another level of discipleship, with all the benefits thereof. I believe you will join me in thanking Mr. Owen for including us on this incredible ride.

From what I’ve read through so far it’s been encouraging and helpful for my self-examination of where I’m at in my faith and where I need to grow.

The personal testimonies you include are impactful and help me see the real potential for God’s power and work in my own life for His kingdom. I also appreciate the amount of scriptures you include as well.

I haven’t forgotten when we first met that day at the Central Florida Fair. It was clear the Holy Spirit was using you to speak the very things I was asking for clarification on in prayer just the day before. One, of which was on the topic of speaking in tongues. I had just recently started speaking in tongues.

it was a new thing for me and a spiritual gift most people in my current church circle didn’t acknowledge. I was wondering if I should even continue praying in tongues in my personal prayer life. The insights you gave were very encouraging and edifying for me at that moment.

This book was written in such a way as to make me hunger for the next chapter.  There were so many "Aha!" moments that answered questions and literally made me feel more connected to humanity.  An excellent read.
